Job summary

Unity Health Toronto is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to support Patient Food Services and Hospitality across departments. The role requires a Public Health endorsed Food Handling certification, a secondary school diploma, and experience in hospital or commercial food services.

The successful candidate will work 3 shifts Monday through Friday with 3 of 4 weekends, demonstrating strong English communication, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Certif ication in a Public Health endorsed Food Handling Course is required.
• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of the Food Service Worker program preferred.
• Experience in hospital or commercial food services preferred.
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work with staff, customers and patients in a hospital setting.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving, able to meet deadlines.
