Job summary

Birkwood Village of Fort Madison is hiring a part-time Dietary Aide for evening shifts. You will assist our cooks by serving meals, helping with clean-up after meals, and building relationships with residents to enhance their dining experience.

You’ll help with meal delivery, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean kitchen and dietary area, contributing to a warm, home-like environment. The role offers on-the-job learning, opportunities for career growth, and a friendly team atmosphere.

Duties Include

• Recognize and respond to the meal-delivery needs of residents
• Effectively serve food, clean up the kitchen and dietary area, dispose of garbage and waste from meal
• preparation, wash dishes, utensils, etc.
• Perform tasks in a manner conducive to a home-like environment for residents
• Perform the essential functions of the job in a manner that benefits our residents.
