Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals in an assisted living or medical facility in Windsor, Ontario. You will follow therapeutic diets, maintain dining spaces, and support safe food handling.

You must hold a valid Food Handler Certificate and have experience in hospitality or customer service. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to sanitation, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Experience as dietary aide or in hospitality and customer service.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to prepare meals according to instructions.
• Good time-management and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to residents or patients in a facility.
• Assist in basic food preparation and serve meals according to therapeutic diets and portions.
• Set, clear, clean, and sanitize dining spaces.
• Monitor and restock service areas.
• Observe HACCP guidelines to ensure safe handling of food.
• Follow WHMIS and MSDS guidelines for cleaning agents.
• Support with special function catering as delegated.
