Job summary

Extendicare is seeking a part-time dietary aide to assist in serving meals to residents and supporting individualized diets. You will clear and wash dishes, stock kitchen areas, and help with food storage and labeling while following safety and infection-control procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to read and write English as well as to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures.
• Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting.
• Successful candidate must be available to workdays, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
• Must be available to work every second weekend.
• Perfect Attendance is a must as well as a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work as part of a team.
