Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. You will assist with meal setup, serving, and cleanup, ensuring residents receive appealing meals in a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities include tray delivery, dining room setup, and helping with catering and events. Candidates should have a Food Handler's Certificate and be enrolled in a Food Service Worker program, with strong customer service and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Certificate is required.
• Must be enrolled in Food Service Worker Training Program.
• Experience in food service; seniors experience preferred.
• Physically able to lift and transfer heavy items and stand/walk for most of shift.
• Second language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional manner.
• Assist with setup and service preparation for meals and beverages.
• Set and clear dining tables; deliver tray service as required.
• Assist with cleaning of dishware and kitchen equipment.
• Support catering and special events and training of new dietary staff.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the dietary needs of our residents, ensuring they receive appealing meals in a welcoming atmosphere.As a Dietary Aide at AgeCare, reporting to the Director or Dietary Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience.
