Job summary

AgeCare London is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support residents’ dietary needs and provide a welcoming dining experience. You will assist with setup, serving, and cleanup of meals, and help maintain a clean dining area and kitchen, while supporting special events and orientation for new staff.

The role requires a Food Handler's Certificate, ability to lift heavy items, and excellent customer service. A second language is a plus; vulnerability checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Certificate is required.
• Enrolled in Food Service Worker Training Program acceptable.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and transfer heavy items and stand for long periods.
• Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional manner.
• Assist in setup and preparation for service (beverages, salads, desserts).
• Set and clear tables; deliver tray service as needed.
• Assist with dishware cleaning and kitchen/dining area upkeep.
• Support catering events and training of new dietary staff.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the dietary needs of our residents, ensuring they receive appealing meals in a welcoming atmosphere.As a Dietary Aide at AgeCare, reporting to the Director or Dietary Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience.
