Job summary

Extendicare is seeking a part-time Food Service role to deliver nutritious meals and snacks to residents in our long-term care facilities across Canada. You will follow therapeutic menus to meet dietary needs, prioritize tasks, and work closely with the Dietary Manager and Food Service Supervisor.

Strong HACCP knowledge and a PDA-compliant profile are required. English communication skills must be clear, both written and spoken, and prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Service Worker Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Food Handler’s Certificate (course offered by the Public Health Unit).
• Experience in long-term care food service is preferred.
• HACCP program knowledge is essential.
• Must meet Physical Demand Analysis (PDA) requirements for the position.
• Clear and concise English communication skills (oral and written).
