Job summary

Cornwall Community Hospital (CCH) is hiring for a role in the dish room, pot room and food production areas to support patient meals and clinical services in our acute care facility.

The incumbent will hold a valid Food Handler’s/Food Safety Certification, have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma, and demonstrate strong teamwork, punctuality and English communication to ensure safe, high-quality food service for patients and staff.

Qualifications

  • Current Food Handler’s/Food Safety Certification
  • Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma
  • Experience in hospital food service department or other food service operation
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong team orientation
  • Demonstrated regular, punctual attendance
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient safety
  • Functional proficiency in English (oral and written)

Cornwall Community Hospital (CCH) is an acute care hospital located in Cornwall, Ontario along the scenic St. Lawrence River.
