Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences in Collingwood is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to deliver warm, delicious meals to residents and guests. You will take orders at tableside and ensure service reflects individual preferences while maintaining pace in a busy dining room.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education or equivalent.
• Food Handler Certification (training provided if not already certified).
• Experience as server or in customer service role.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced setting and attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Physical ability to meet job demands, including standing for long periods, lifting and carrying heavy items, and handling kitchen tools safely
• Preparedness to respond to emergency situations
• Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
