As a Diesel Technician III, you will assist with minor repairs, component replacements, and support the removal and installation of major components under supervision.

Major Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs such as brakes, electrical, and trailer maintenance with supervision
• Conduct preventive maintenance
• Assist with mechanical repairs under supervision
• Handle customer service duties
• Vehicle pickup and delivery
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area
• Use hand and power tools for repairs
• Perform routine maintenance tasks
• Adjust and reassemble components
• Lift heavy parts using hydraulic equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1-2 years vehicle or truck repair experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational/technical certification preferred
• Enrolled in an apprentice program
• Current membership with relevant government agencies
• Knowledge of hand tools
• Valid driver’s license (Class G or 5), ability to obtain Class DZ within 6 months
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
• Reliable attendance
• Willingness to travel within the district

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45kg with accommodations if needed
• Good vision and physical agility
• Frequent standing, walking, and handling tasks
