Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. in Stoney Creek, Ontario is seeking an Experienced Truck Mechanic’s Apprentice. Location is 510 S Service Rd with pay of $33-37 per hour and shifts Wed-Sat 6:00am-4:30pm, plus shift differentials of $3 and $4 for 2nd/3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance.
• Must be currently enrolled in an apprentice program.
• Must maintain membership/registration with respective Government Agencies.
• Will consider candidates with a 310S license or automotive background.
• Specialized training in repair and replacement of vehicle components preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and diagnose engines, power train, braking and electrical systems with supervision.
• Perform reconditioning of equipment for trade-ins and deliveries.
• Identify parts required for repair and preventive maintenance.
• Document warranty repairs and maintain safety standards.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
