Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic for heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The successful candidate will repair, service, and diagnose a wide range of truck and trailer models to customer specifications while adhering to safety standards.

The role emphasizes quality workmanship, accurate work orders, and proactive communication with customers and management to maximize profitability and minimize rework.

Qualifications

• Two years of diesel mechanic experience in heavy-duty trucking.
• Experience repairing trucks and trailers to customer specs.
• Valid driver's license and possibly CDL.
• Own tools or willingness to purchase as skill grows.

Responsabilités

• Repair and maintain medium to heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Perform basic welding as required.
• Inform customer/manager of completion times and costs.

Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited is seeking a Diesel Mechanic - Heavy Duty Trucks who will be responsible for repairing medium to heavy duty trucks and all models of trailers to specific customer and industry-standard specifications.

• Inform customer/manager of completion times, services expenses, and possible changes
• Monitor the profit/loss of each job to maximize profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality; minimize warranty claims and re-work
• Submit work orders for invoicing
• Maintain inventory and supplies
• Prepare list of required replacement parts
• Clean work area as required and maintain equipment; Adhere to all environmental, health and safety standards
• Two years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry
• Automotive Service Excellence certification appropriate to the job or equivalent
• Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
• Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
• Valid driver's license and/or CDL with good driving record
