Ryder in Dartmouth, NS is seeking a Technician II to perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles under supervision. You will work with junior technicians, using diagnostic tools to identify root causes and completing tasks as assigned by shop management.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED preferred.
• Vocational/Technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• CDL Class A preferred.
• 2+ years of combined classroom training and work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Interact with customers/drivers to clarify the nature of the complaint.
• Follow safety, DOT, MOT and corporate guidelines.
