Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions in Brampton, ON is seeking an entry-level Diesel Technician III to learn and grow under experienced supervision. You will assist with minor repairs, maintenance, and component replacements, with a pathway to advanced roles through hands-on training and support from senior technicians.

Qualifications

• 1-2 year's practical experience with vehicle repair or truck repair preferred.
• Must maintain membership/registration with respective Government Agencies.
• Working knowledge in the use of hand tools required.
• Basic computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Remove, replace or adjust brakes, fifth wheel, and minor electrical parts under supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine maintenance on vehicles as trained.
• Assist with removal, replacement, and repair of major components and other duties.
• Handle customer service duties as necessary and assist with pickup/delivery of vehicles.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and operate hand and power tools.
