  • Clean driver’s abstract and criminal record check.

Job description

The Bayview Group is a full-service dealer for Kenworth Trucks and KUBOTA farm and construction equipment, located in Bathurst, New Brunswick.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform repairs and diagnostics on medium and heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including engines, power trains, electrical, steering, electronics, brake, and suspension systems.
  2. Identify parts needed for repairs and perform preventive maintenance.
  3. Document warrantable repairs and complete technical reports accurately and promptly.
  4. Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions or verify repairs.
  5. Work in a team environment with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  6. Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to company policies.
  7. Be available for after-hours emergency service calls.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Completion of a College certification for Truck & Transport or Heavy Equipment Service Technician (minimum Block 3).
  2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., in accordance with safety standards.
  3. Willingness to continue training.
  4. Clean driver’s abstract and criminal record check.
  5. Basic computer skills for Windows-based software.
  6. At least 4 years of experience in a service environment.
