CPKC is seeking a Diesel Service Attendant in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The role involves moving, fueling, cleaning, testing, and basic repairs on locomotives in a safety-focused environment, serving as an entry point into the Apprenticeship Program for long-term growth.

Diesel Service Attendants are responsible for moving, fueling, cleaning, testing, and performing basic repairs on locomotives in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment. This role requires strict adherence to regulatory and safety standards while working both independently and as part of a team.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety conscious, and enjoys hands‑on work in an outdoor setting across varying weather conditions. This position provides foundational experience with locomotive maintenance and serves as a strong entry point into CPKC’s Locomotive Diesel Mechanic Apprenticeship Program, offering long‑term career growth and technical development.
Medical and Drug Testing
This is a safety sensitive position and a successful pre-employment medical assessment including physical, vision, hearing, and a negative company drug test is required. Post hire qualification drug testing may also be required.
