Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Technician I in London, Ontario to perform minor routine vehicle maintenance and repairs under supervision. You will work with skilled technicians and management to ensure quality service and adherence to safety standards.

Shifts run Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 12:00am. The role requires basic mechanical skills, ability to read and follow procedures, and good communication with drivers and team members. Benefits start after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED preferred.
• Basic tools, required.
• One year or more experience in transportation maintenance, preferred.
• Knowledge of and ability to apply knowledge of computers, intermediate required.
• CDL CLASS A, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools.
• Maintains records in Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaints.
• Complies with safety guidelines (DOT, MOT) and company policies.
