Alberta Health Services in Edmonton is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Renal Dialysis unit as part of the Alberta Kidney Care North program.

The LPN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, delivering patient and family centered care to renal failure populations within the Hemodialysis Unit at the Gene Zwozdesky Centre.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited LPN education program.
• Active or eligible for registration with CLHA.
• Current BCLS-HCP certification.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in a Hemodialysis unit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for patient/family centred care.
• Adhere to Hemodialysis Nursing Specialty Scope of Practice and standards.
