The Licensed Practical Nurse at Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority delivers comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Pine Falls dialysis unit, aligned with established standards and policies. You will supervise care, coordinate with the healthcare team, and support workflow in a community health setting.

This 0.5 FTE, day shift role requires current CLPNM licensure, BLS, and nephrology training, with strong assessment, communication, and independent decision-making skills.

Qualifications

• Active practicing licensure with CLPNM, or eligible for active licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Training as per policy.
• Successful completion of Manitoba Nephrology Nursing Course.
• Knowledge and ability to demonstrate clinical nursing skills.
• Proficient with computers and electronic health records.
• Ability to make effective nursing care decisions.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated communication skills and teamwork.
• Valid Manitoba driver's license.
• Language skills are a plus in a diverse community.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the dialysis unit.
• Provide clinical direction to Health Care Aides and other staff as assigned.
