Qualifications
Must be a graduate of a recognized training program in Medical Diagnostic Sonography and certified with Sonography Canada or ARDMS.
Demonstrated ability in CPR techniques.
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients for testing and explain procedures.
Perform ultrasound procedures on various sections of the body.
Assist in procedural rooms, including setting up biopsy trays and monitoring equipment performance.
Document images and check technical quality.
Maintain patient and hospital records as required.
Skills
Knowledge of Sonography procedures
Ability to communicate effectively
Aseptic techniques knowledge
Ability to operate medical imaging equipment
