Job summary

A health care organization is seeking a Casual Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at Surrey Memorial Hospital. The successful candidate will perform various ultrasound procedures, prepare patients for testing, and ensure high standards of patient care. Certification in Diagnostic Sonography is required along with the ability to work collaboratively. Qualifications

• Must be certified with Sonography Canada or ARDMS.
• Graduate of a recognized diagnostic training program.
• Completion of IV Therapy training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and receive patients for testing and exams.
• Perform ultrasound procedures using established techniques.
• Monitor equipment performance and perform quality control duties.
• Participate in approved research and special projects.
