Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized training program in Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography.
• Certified with Sonography Canada or ARDMS.
• Completion of IV Therapy training course or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for ultrasound testing and explain procedures.
• Perform abdominal, obstetrical, pelvic, and cardiac ultrasound procedures.
• Assist radiologists with interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures.
• Check images for quality and completeness.
