Job summary

Autism Services is seeking a Sonographer to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations and provide a safe, compassionate patient experience. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical expertise and clinical judgment, able to work independently or in a multidisciplinary team.

Location REGINA; full-time schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Requires diploma and CMRI registration; 1–2 years' experience preferred; starts at $40/hr, negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound procedures
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations (e.g., abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and musculoskeletal imaging)
  • Prepare patients, obtain history, and explain procedures clearly
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Ensure accurate documentation and maintain imaging records
  • Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain patient safety, privacy, and infection control standards
  • Support workflow efficiency in both scheduled and urgent environments

The Sonographer is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while ensuring a safe, compassionate, and professional patient experience. This role requires strong technical expertise, clinical judgment, and the ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations (e.g., abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and musculoskeletal imaging)
  • Prepare patients, obtain history, and explain procedures clearly
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Ensure accurate documentation and maintain imaging records
  • Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain patient safety, privacy, and infection control standards
  • Support workflow efficiency in both scheduled and urgent environments
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program
  • Registration with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan (CMRIPS).
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound procedures
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
Work schedule

MondayFriday (8:00 AM5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch break)
