Prosperity Workforce Solutions is seeking a Sonographer for a leading diagnostic imaging client in Calgary, Alberta. The team specializes in Musculoskeletal, Womens and Obstetrical Imaging, Interventional Radiology, and Pain Management, with a patient‑centred approach and strong growth potential.

You will provide professional patient care, review examinations, obtain histories, and assist with interventional procedures across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate from a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Registration in good standing with Sonography Canada.
• Experience in a clinic or hospital setting is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, compassionate care to create an exceptional patient experience.
• Review examinations for appropriateness and patient eligibility.
• Obtain patient history and educate patients on upcoming exams.
• Demonstrate competence in abdominal, obstetrical, small parts, venous, carotid Doppler, and assist with interventional procedures.
• Collaborate with ultrasound department and clinic staff.

Prosperity Workforce Solutions is seeking a Sonographer on behalf of our expanding diagnostic imaging client located in Calgary, Alberta. The clinic takes pride in delivering superior medical imaging services and is recognized as a leader in Musculoskeletal, Womens and Obstetrical Imaging, Interventional Radiology, and Pain Management. Their subspecialty-trained Radiologists and highly skilled clinical and support staff work collaboratively to provide exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional, compassionate care to create an exceptional patient experience
Anticipate patient needs, answer questions, and maintain a comfortable, safe clinical environment
Review examinations for appropriateness and patient eligibility
Obtain patient history and educate patients on upcoming exams
Demonstrate competence in abdominal, obstetrical, small parts, venous, carotid Doppler, and assist with interventional procedures
Additional competencies:

Musculoskeletal, arterial Doppler, transrectal, and neuro sonography considered an asset
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong independent judgment
Apply critical thinking when assessing complex pathologies
Communicate clearly with staff and patients
Contribute to a collaborative, team-focused environment within the ultrasound department and across the clinic

Requirements

Diploma or certificate from a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
Experience in a clinic or hospital setting considered an asset
Registration in good standing with Sonography Canada
Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Hourly rate: $43 to $58/hr, commensurate with experience

Shifts

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with flexibility for occasional evening and/or weekend shifts.

Sonographers will be mobile, can be at any sites (Harvest Hills, Sunpark, Trinity Hills). Will receive schedule & location in advance.
