Job summary

Equisoft is seeking a DevOps Specialist to join a collaborative team in Montreal or Quebec City. You will design scalable infrastructure, automate CI/CD, and implement GitOps practices across multiple products. The role reports to the Manager, Product Development and involves working with 5 key internal products.

The position is full-time and hybrid, offering day‑one benefits, 40-hour weeks, and opportunities for growth within a global digital solutions company.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in AWS or Azure.
  • Strong Kubernetes cluster management and operations.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
  • Solid Linux, Git, Docker, and scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Go).
  • Security, monitoring (Grafana/Prometheus), and incident resolution expertise.
  • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development teams to facilitate the build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Automate CI/CD and GitOps workflows to streamline product delivery.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues in coordination with engineering teams.
  • Manage access controls, security compliance, and best practices across environments.
  • Monitor system performance and optimize cloud usage to reduce costs.
  • Triage and troubleshoot distributed systems and implement fixes.

Role:

The DevOps Specialist (AWS/Azure Cloud) reports to the Manager, Product Development and works closely with 6 other DevOps Specialists. The candidate helps design quality infrastructure, facilitates the development and deployment process, implements the right technologies for our products, and improves the lives of fellow developers.

The incumbent will be working with 5 important internal product : Connect, Plan, Analyse Lifeguide and Centralize

Your Day With Equisoft
  • Collaborate with the development team to facilitate the development process
  • Automate and align the process of building (CI), deploying (CD), maintaining and upgrading the technologies supporting the application
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues in coordination with development teams
  • Manage access controls, security compliance, and implement security best practices across environments
  • Use GitOps (Terraform, Opentofu, FluxCD, ArgoCD) best practices
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and security with proactive recommendations
  • Troubleshoot complex distributed systems and implement corrective measures
  • Optimize the use of the cloud in order to reduce operational costs
Requirements:
Technical
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or College Diploma
  • 5+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience in AWS or Azure
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes cluster management and operations
  • Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, Git, Docker, and scripting (Bash, Python, or GoLang)
  • Solid understanding of security implementations
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Loki, Tempo or Prometheus) in Kubernetes environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex distributed systems
  • Excellent knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)
