Job Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven and certified DevOps/Linux System Engineer with 8+ years of experience in automation, cloud infrastructure, and system administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Red Hat Linux, Ansible, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and a solid understanding of banking/financial environments. This role will involve managing DevOps processes, automating deployments, handling cloud-based systems, and supporting mission-critical production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems in production and development environments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and Ansible.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible and Terraform.
• Administer cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, ECS, and CloudWatch.
• Deploy and maintain containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Support and upgrade Red Hat Satellite servers and manage content lifecycle and compliance.
• Create and maintain AMIs using Red Hat Image Builder for compliance with CSI benchmarks.
• Monitor systems using Splunk, Nagios, and AWS CloudWatch; troubleshoot performance issues.
• Collaborate with Dev/Test teams to resolve high-priority production issues.
• Develop automation scripts in Bash, Shell, and YAML for routine operations.
• Handle network services: DNS, NFS, FTP, LDAP, Sendmail.
• Manage databases (Oracle, MySQL), including basic administration and monitoring tasks.
• Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and processes.

Technical Skills:

• Operating Systems: RHEL 7/8, CentOS, Ubuntu, Windows Server
• Scripting: Bash, Shell, YAML, Ruby
• Databases: Oracle 11g/12c/19c, MySQL
• Other: VMware ESXi, Red Hat Image Builder, Samba/NFS, Autosys Scheduler

Certifications (Preferred):

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation
• LPIC-1

Preferred Experience:

• Working in banking or financial institutions
• 24x7 production support and infrastructure troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with application deployment in AWS environments
