Job summary

Pacer Group in Ontario, Canada is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a 12-month contract on a hybrid schedule (2 days on-site per week). The role requires 10–12 years of IT experience, including 4–6 years hands-on DevOps, with strong Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Nexus, Docker, and Kubernetes skills.

You will design, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, set up Nexus, integrate security scans, and support containerized deployments in Agile and Waterfall environments.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of overall IT experience.
• 4–6 years hands-on DevOps experience.
• Strong CI/CD pipeline automation with Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in deployments.
• Experience with code quality, security or vulnerability scans in CI/CD.

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 10–12 years of overall IT experience, including 4–6 years of hands‑on DevOps experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10–12 years of overall IT experience.
• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Experience configuring and managing Jenkins, Git, and Nexus.
• Experience with DevOps monitoring and configuration tools.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating code quality, security, vulnerability, or other scans into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of artifact management, defect management, application flows, and release processes.
• Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
