Job summary

Tekgence Inc in Toronto is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer with 10–12 years overall IT experience and 4–6 years focused on DevOps to join our engineering team.

You will automate CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, configure Jenkins and Git-based workflows, manage containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes, and integrate security scans into build pipelines. Banking and payments domain experience is a plus; .NET development is a bonus.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of overall IT experience with 4–6 years in DevOps.
• Hands-on experience automating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, Nexus setup and monitoring tools.
• Experience with containers such as Docker; Kubernetes awareness.
• Experience with integration of security scans into build pipelines.
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Nice-to-have: Azure technologies, banking projects, payments domain, .NET development.

Job description

- Overall, 10 to 12 years of experience with 4 to 6 years of experience in DevOps.

- Hands-on experience with automating CI-CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

- Experience in DevOps processes like setting up and configuration of CI CD pipelines using Jenkins, GIT, Nexus setup, and configuration monitoring tools

- Experience in container systems like Docker and aware of tools like Kubernetes

- Experience with integration of scans into build pipelines.

- Process knowledge – handling of artifacts, defects, Application flow (Waterfall and Agile)

Good to have skills:

- Experience of working on projects with Azure technologies

- Experience of working in Banking projects

- Functional knowledge in Payments

- Hands on development experience in .net Technologies will be a plus
