About the role

Join a leading global emissions monitoring company as a DevOps Engineer specialized in cloud technologies. You'll build, deploy, and maintain a secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
• Build and operate Kubernetes clusters for application scaling and orchestration
• Develop event-driven data pipelines with Argo Workflows
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Git environments
• Monitor systems with Grafana to ensure performance and uptime
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance, disaster recovery, and best practices
• Collaborate with teams to design resilient APIs and services

Requirements

• Must currently be based in Canada
• At least 5 years of experience in backend, cloud, or DevOps roles
• Hands-on AWS experience (e.g., EKS, S3, RDS, SQS, SES)
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform
• Proficiency in containerization and Kubernetes

Preferred Skills

• Bilingual in French and English
• Familiarity with GIS systems (GeoTIFF, GeoJSON, QGIS)
• Domain experience in aerospace, geospatial, or remote sensing
