Job summary

S I Systems is seeking a DevOps Engineer (4+ years) to support CIAM SaaS onboarding and automation with CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, and cloud container technologies for a major bank. The role is Toronto-based with hybrid work arrangement.

You will drive platform operations, onboarding of business channels, and automation, collaborating with security and architecture teams to ensure secure, scalable identity platforms.

Qualifications

• 4 years hands‑on DevOps experience building pipelines to deploy to production and pre‑production environments.
• 2–4 years CI/CD tooling experience (Jira, Jenkins, Gradle, Bitbucket, Artifactory) excluding Azure DevOps.
• 2–4 years Ansible experience creating playbooks and YAML.
• 2–4 years cloud/container tech (Docker, Kubernetes, GCP) for cloud‑native platforms.
• Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS), multi‑tier apps, microservices, scripting (Ansible/Terraform/Bash).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain CIAM SaaS platform stability, availability, and performance.
• Manage CIAM platform changes, patches, upgrades, and configuration updates.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Lead the technical onboarding of new business channels, apps and digital products into the CIAM SaaS platform.
• Collaborate with architecture and security teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for onboarding workflows.
• Automate customer lifecycle events such as onboarding, altering, and offboarding.
• Implement environment strategy, deployment governance, and release automation.
• Work with product teams, architects, and QA to ensure smooth integration.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows, MFA, SSO, token management.
