Akkodis is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a contract position with a client in Toronto, ON (Hybrid). Ideally, candidates should have experience with:

• Executing SFDX commands
• Salesforce CRM deployments
• Security compliance using PowerShell and Python
• Salesforce configuration and Metadata API
• XML Deployments

Preference will be given to those with experience in large organizations.

Location: 200 Wellington St W 10th Floor Toronto ON M5V3C7 Canada

Work arrangement: On-site 1 day a week and 1 Friday a month

What You'll Be Doing

The DevOps Consultant will lead Salesforce CRM deployments via Azure DevOps, designing and implementing automation for CI/CD pipelines. The role involves providing hands-on technical support to develop precise steps and processing logic across platforms, ensuring business needs are met.

How You'll Succeed

• Design and implement CI/CD pipeline integrations with Salesforce via Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with developers, Project Managers, and the DevOps team to align solutions with business goals
• Develop architectural patterns and reusable YAML templates for multiple teams and projects
• Establish and refine DevOps best practices focusing on automation, performance, and security using PowerShell and Python

Who You Are

• 5+ years supporting Salesforce CRM deployments via Azure DevOps, with expertise in source code management and version control
• 3+ years experience in PowerShell and/or Python automation
• Salesforce DevOps skillset (must have)
• Expertise in Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration
• Experience executing SFDX commands
• Knowledge of Git branching strategies, SonarQube, CI/CD sandbox administration
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment of Salesforce CRM via Azure DevOps
• Automation of pre- and post-deployment steps
• Knowledge of Salesforce packaging structures
