Job description

Join to apply for the DevOps Engineer (contract) role at Capgemini

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in deploying applications on OpenShift and Azure AKS, and deep knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins. The candidate should also be proficient in containerization and infrastructure automation, with familiarity in security and monitoring tools considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and deploy containerized applications to OpenShift and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  2. Configure and optimize Docker containers, Kubernetes deployments, services, HPAs, and related components
  3. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Maven, and Angular builds
  4. Handle code merging and branching strategies using Git; support seamless release processes
  5. Collaborate with development teams to automate build/test/deploy workflows
  6. Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot build or deployment issues
  7. Support infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform and Ansible
