Job summary

Kumaran Systems is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer to support engineering teams with release automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments. The role emphasizes hands-on work with REST APIs, gRPC, Azure DevOps, and container platforms to enable scalable, reliable software delivery.

The ideal candidate will contribute to build, release, and environment management while collaborating with development and QA teams across cloud-native ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Experience with REST APIs and gRPC services.
• Strong hands-on Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, YAML-based pipelines, release automation, and deployments.
• Solid DevOps knowledge across build, deployment, monitoring, and environment management.

Responsibilities

• Experience partnering with development and QA teams to support and enable application releases.
• Exposure to cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of source control, automation, and infrastructure/deployment best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, shell scripting, OpenShift, and Service Mesh.

Job Description

Job Summary:
Experience with REST APIs and gRPC services

Strong hands-on expertise in Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, YAML-based pipelines, release automation, and deployments

SolidDevOps knowledge across build, deployment, monitoring, and environment management

Experience partnering with development and QA teams to support and enable application releases

Exposure to cloud technologies

Strong understanding of source control, automation, and infrastructure/deployment best practices

Hands-on experience with Linux, shell scripting, OpenShift, and Service Mesh

Experience with JFrog Artifactory, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, and GitHub
