The organization's diverse portfolio includes seniors' housing and retirement residences, multi-residential, mixed-use and institutional developments. Initial projects will focus on the GTA and surrounding areas, with the opportunity to contribute to a broader national portfolio.

This is a hands-on role for a planner who brings both technical expertise and commercial awareness to real estate development. You'll be involved in evaluating land opportunities, assessing development potential and leading municipal approval strategies, collaborating with consultants, municipalities and internal project teams to help advance projects from concept through to approval.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • RPP / MCIP designation, candidate membership or close to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario's planning framework, zoning by-laws and municipal approval processes, including rezoning, Official Plan Amendments and Site Plan Approvals.
  • Experience assessing development potential, conducting planning due diligence and identifying approval risks and opportunities.
  • Experience with high-rise residential and/or multi-storey senior living / institutional developments is an asset.
  • Must be comfortable travelling nationally to project sites, consultant offices and municipal meetings as required.
WHY CONSIDER THIS OPPORTUNITY?
  • Be part of establishing and growing an expanding Ontario division within an established organization.
  • Work directly with senior leadership and have a meaningful voice in advancing projects and development strategies.
  • Take the lead on diverse projects and be involved throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Remote / hybrid work arrangement with flexibility around project and business needs.
  • Competitive compensation, excellent benefits and additional company perks.
Projects:

Initially focused on the GTA and surrounding areas, with travel across Ontario and nationally as required.
