SALARY RANGE: $70,400 - $75,000 per annum

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious fundraiser to join UHN Foundation as part of the Ajmera Transplant Centre campaign team. The Ajmera Transplant Centre at UHN is Canada’s largest and most comprehensive multi-organ transplant program, offering world-leading care and pioneering research in organ transplantation. From life-saving surgeries to groundbreaking innovations in organ repair, transplant oncology, and immunology, the Centre is transforming what’s possible for patients in Canada and around the world.
The Development Officer will be a self-starting individual with aptitude and passion to build relationships with individual donors, prospective donors and colleagues, and who demonstrates excellent attention to detail, communication and relationship-building skills. The incumbent will be part of the successful major gifts fundraising Campaign team supporting the Ajmera Transplant Centre, managing a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors to secure philanthropic donations of $100,000+ in support of campaign priorities. Interaction with medical leaders, clinician partners and volunteers, including our engaged Board Champions and will be ongoing. In addition to building relationships and soliciting donations the incumbent will also ensure proper stewardship takes place to maintain donor involvement, interest and support. This opportunity offers a unique and stimulating challenge for the right candidate.
