Taylor Ryan Executive Search Partners is partnering with a Fraser Valley real estate developer to hire a Development Manager. You will oversee projects from acquisition through completion and coordinate entitlement, design development, permits and construction, within a small team.

Reporting to the President, the role offers exposure to all development stages and a clear path toward a Director-level position as the company grows.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years experience managing wood-frame residential projects through entitlement and construction.
• Strong understanding of municipal approval processes across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
• Excellent project management, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication with consultants, municipalities, contractors and internal stakeholders.

With multiple projects currently under construction, active development applications progressing through approvals, and new developments breaking ground, this is an exciting opportunity to join a developer at a pivotal stage of growth and play a key role in shaping its future pipeline.

Reporting directly to the President, the Development Manager will oversee projects from acquisition and feasibility through entitlement, design development, permitting, construction coordination, and project completion. This role offers significant exposure to all aspects of the development process as part of a small team and presents a clear pathway toward a future Director-level position as the company continues to expand.

The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years experience managing wood-frame residential projects through entitlement and into construction alongside:

• Strong understanding of municipal approval processes across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
• Excellent project management, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with consultants, municipalities, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience tendering, negotiating and managing consultant contracts.
