Job summary

The University of British Columbia is seeking a Development Coordinator for Corporate and Foundation Relations. The role supports CFR fundraising activities, donor engagement, and the smooth delivery of programs, requiring strong organizational and writing skills, and comfort with Microsoft 365 tools.

The position reports to an Advancement Officer and collaborates with CFR team members and university staff to ensure accurate donor records, timely contributions, and compelling donor

Qualifications

• University degree in relevant discipline.
• Minimum of one year of related experience, or the equivalent combination of experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Supports development and implementation of new unit initiatives.
• Maintains donor and alumni database records.
• Prepares donor materials and reports.
• Writes donor/prospect solicitation materials.
• Researches and drafts fundraising proposals for senior management.
• Processes donor gifts, pledges and receipts.
