Job summary

Eastern Kentucky University is seeking a Development and Alumni Engagement Student Liaison to assist the division with daily administrative tasks and customer service for alumni, donors and students. This student role supports events and coordination with the Alumni Engagement team at the Richmond Campus.

The position is a part-time student job (<20 hrs/week), with a flexible schedule, located on the Richmond Campus. Applicants must be enrolled at EKU and available to work 10–20 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Daily administrative duties - answering/returning calls, greeting visitors, handling mail and voicemails, on-campus errands, supporting Alumni Engagement staff.
• Event planning - gather, prepare and organize materials, set-up and clean-up for events.
• Maintain office organization and inventory of promotional items.

Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Development and Alumni Engagement Student Liaison will carry out daily administrative duties of the division, provide customer service to alumni, donors, students, and potential future colonels, and work closely with the Development and Alumni Engagement team as well as the Student Alumni Ambassador Advisor's to plan, organize, promote, execute, and follow-up all alumni and philanthropic events.
