Team and Role Overview

The Application Platform Infrastructure team seeks talented developers to innovate critical cloud infrastructure used by thousands of analytics customers. Focus areas include building and managing microservices at scale, automating operations, and advancing our application stack for the next generation. Role Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 2 years of software development experience
• Experience with web services using Java, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, TypeScript, or Go
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, OpenStack, Cloud Foundry, or Gardener with Kubernetes
• Understanding of high availability, scalability, performance, security, and observability in cloud environments
• Proficient in troubleshooting complex production systems
• Strong drive, ownership, and urgency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservice architecture and backend design
• Knowledge of HANA or HANA Cloud
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Springboot, FastAPI, Flask, Django, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, monitoring tools (Elastic, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana), and infrastructure tools (Terraform, Ansible)
