Our client in Longueuil, Quebec is seeking a Product Developer to design and develop custom projects using SolidWorks, bridging design, production, and project management teams. You will create technical drawings, select materials, and document BOMs to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with suppliers and internal teams, rigorous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• DEC or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in product design or product development.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally involving custom-made product development.
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical drawing interpretation.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Bilingual French and English, written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects.
