Avenue.io Inc. is hiring a Client Care Assistant to work in the Northern Addictions Centre's Detox Unit, providing basic and supportive care to clients with addictions.

You will participate in client assessments, care planning, and delivery, respond to requests, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment as part of an interprofessional team. Local travel may be required and shifts include days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 and BCLS-HCP certification.
• Two years of Addiction and Mental Health experience.
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license for local travel.

Responsabilités

• Provide supportive care to clients and maintain a safe, secure facility.
• Respond to client requests and communicate with staff to support a therapeutic environment.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living and participate in recreational, educational and employment activities.
