Legend Boats is seeking a Detailer & Shop Helper in Whitefish, Ontario to keep our boats looking pristine and to support daily production in a fast-paced shop. You will detail boats, manage your tasks, apply decals and branding, and assist with moving boats and prepping units for delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience detailing boats with buffering and polishing.
• Reliable, independent worker with strong work ethic.
• Able to follow technical instructions and safety procedures.
• Good physical stamina for hands-on work.
• Experience in marine, automotive, or RV detailing.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough detailing on new and service boats following standards.
• Manage time to complete tasks and hit production goals.
• Apply decals, plates, and branding accurately.
• Prepare units for final sign-off prior to delivery.
• Assist with moving boats and staging within the yard.
• Carry out paint and finish restorations as needed.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Help teammates with labor tasks or maintenance projects.
• Assist in setting up and tearing down displays and event materials.
• General facility upkeep and grounds maintenance.
• Complete shrink-wrapping and winterization prep for models.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license for moving company vehicles.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive shop environment.

Are you a reliable, hands-on professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality results? We are seeking an experienced Detailer & Shop Helper to join our Whitefish, Ontario team. This role requires someone who can self-manage, maintain high standards for boat aesthetics, and work efficiently to meet production goals. If you have a strong work ethic, proven detailing experience, and enjoy working independently in a fast-paced shop environment, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Perform thorough detailing on new and service boats, following quality standards.
• Effectively manage your own time to complete daily tasks and hit production goals.
• Apply registration decals, license plates, and custom branding accurately.
• Prepare completed units for final sign-off to ensure they are ready for delivery.
• Assist with moving boats and staging units within the yard.
• Carry out paint and finish restorations as needed.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Help team members with specific labor tasks or maintenance projects when needed.
• Assist in setting up and tearing down boat displays and event materials.
• Assist with general facility upkeep and grounds maintenance.
• Complete shrink-wrapping and winterization prep for different boat models.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license for moving company vehicles.
• Work well with the team and contribute to a positive shop environment.

What You Bring

• Experience in detailing, including buffering, polishing, and surface care.
• Reliable work ethic with the ability to manage your own tasks independently.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and safety procedures.
• Good physical stamina for active, hands-on work.
• Experience in marine, automotive, or RV detailing. (prefer red)
• An interest in the marine industry.

Compensation & Perks
