Job summary

Brantford Toyota, part of Performance Auto Group, is seeking a Detailer to join our guest-focused team in Ontario. You will perform detailing services, use professional cleaning chemicals, and ensure vehicles meet company standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of detailing experience, a valid Ontario driver’s license, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We offer health benefits and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• 1+ year automotive detailing experience preferred.
• Must have valid Ontario Driver's Licence and good driving record.
• Experience with professional cleaning chemicals and reconditioning vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailing services that exceed customer needs.
• Adhere to processes and use cleaning chemicals safely on surfaces.
• Operate vehicles for detailing tasks as required.
• Wash, wax, and buff vehicles to company standards.
• Clean windows and assess interior/exterior visually for quality.
• Organize tools and maintain a clean workstation.
• Follow all safety standards and company policies.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management.

Here’s What You’ll Deliver

• Perform detailing services that exceed customers’ needs.
• Adhere to processes and procedures while administering professional cleaning chemicals to surfaces.
• Advanced ability to operate automatic and manual vehicles as required.
• Execute the washing, waxing, and buffing of vehicles to company standards.
• Clean vehicle windows inside and out, while considering the proper cleaning products when tinting agents have been applied to windows.
• Initiate visual inspections of the interior and exterior of the vehicle once all tasks are completed to ensure that the product meets customer and company standards.
• Organize cleaning tools and equipment to maintain a clean workstation.
• Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.
• Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures.
• Other duties as required by management.

What You Need To Succeed

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of automotive detailer experience is preferred.
• Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Capable of working in a collaborative environment while providing a positive attitude.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and a good driving record.
• Experience in detailing vehicles using professional cleaning chemicals.
• Experienced in all aspects of vehicle reconditioning.
• Experience in buffing vehicles.
• Ability to utilize power tools while maintaining safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule.

Job Type:

Full Time - Permanent

Compensation (expected hourly wage):

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour. The starting rate will be set within this range based on job-related factors such as relevant skills and experience.
