Steele Mitsubishi, part of Steele Auto Group, is seeking an Automotive Detailer in Halifax, Canada. The role focuses on showroom-quality finishes, prep for delivery, and maintaining a clean lot to create a standout customer experience.

Responsibilities include applying interior/exterior products, buffing as needed, and ensuring vehicles are presentation-ready. Prior detailer experience is a plus, with a strong emphasis on independence and time management.

Qualifications

• Experience as an automotive detailer or in a similar role would be considered an asset but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and the ability to operate both automatic and manual vehicles.
• Hardworking, self-motivated, and excellent time management skills.

• Report imperfections on new vehicles to management promptly.
• Apply products correctly to both interior and exterior of sold vehicles.
• Buff vehicles as needed to maintain high-quality appearance.
• Prepare new and used vehicles to ensure they are presented in optimal condition.
• Park vehicles properly in designated areas, both on the lot and in delivery zones.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace to ensure a productive and hazard-free environment.

From preparing vehicles for delivery and maintaining a clean, organized lot to applying the final touches before handover, you'll play an important role in creating a memorable customer experience. Your attention to detail helps ensure every vehicle reflects the quality, professionalism, and care that Steele Mitsubishi is known for. Because a spotless finish is about more than appearance, it's about giving every customer confidence and excitement from the moment they see their vehicle to the moment they drive away.

Hourly Rate: $18.15 - $20.00

What You'll Be Driving Into:
