Job summary

Alliston Volkswagen in Newmarket, Ontario is seeking a detailer to clean and detail new and pre-owned vehicles, ensuring showroom displays and customer vehicles look pristine and ready for delivery.

You will perform interior and exterior detailing, protect surfaces, and prep vehicles for customer delivery. The role supports the Sales and Service teams and offers a permanent full-time position with a CAD 28.00 hourly wage, with compensation including vacation pay as per Ontario standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Eye for detail and perfection.
• Experience in vehicle detailing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean, protect, and preserve vehicle interiors and exteriors.
• Overall preparation of vehicles for customer delivery.
• Customer vehicle detail packages as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Manager.

Summary:

As an instrumental player on both the sales and service team, the Detailer is responsible for cleaning and detailing new and pre-owned vehicles. The detailer plays an integral role in ensuring the successful delivery of vehicles to customers. The detailer is also responsible for the appearance and cleanliness of all vehicles in the showroom and retail display.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning, protecting, and preserving vehicle interiors (ie. carpet and upholstery, dash and console, door panels, mirrors, glove compartment) and exteriors (ie. wheels/tires/wheel wells, lower body panels, front grill/bumper).
• Overall preparation of vehicles for customer delivery.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Stay updated on repair techniques and industry trends; contribute to process improvements.

• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.

Compensation:

• Compensation range:$28.00 CAD
• The range may vary based on experience and qualifications.

This compensation encompasses hourly rate and vacation pay as required under Ontario Regulation 476/24 made under the Employment Standards Act, 2000.
