• 1–4 years of experience in a similar environment
• Eligibility for P.Eng. with Professional Engineers Ontario
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Ability to understand local development design standards and regulations
• Proven client relationship management and leadership skills
• Comfortable interacting with public agencies, clients, contractors and co-workers
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid G license and access to a vehicle including vehicle insurance

Responsibilities

• Contribute to engineering design assignments in a team environment on large multisector project teams
• Develop concept, preliminary and detailed drawings, designs, specifications and plans for design, tender, construction and as-constructed drawing sets and contract documents
• Prepare reports and other project-related documentation
• Participate in project management and planning on various projects
• Assist with preparing presentation materials and proposals
• Proactively create a positive work environment
• Support and/or develop Health & Safety programs
• Collaborate with other disciplines at EnVision on multi-disciplinary projects
• Travel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario as needed
• Perform any other functions assigned as part of your employment

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $95,000.00 Annually

As part of your role, you may expect to be involved in:

• Contributing to engineering design assignments in a team environment on large multisector project teams

To apply to this position, you should expect to have:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology Diploma from an accredited university/college, with coursework to include urban water systems, municipal infrastructure, construction engineering, hydrology, and transportation
• 1-4 years of experience in a similar environment
• Eligibility for P.Eng. with Professional Engineers Ontario
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Ability to understand and come quickly up to speed on local development design standards and regulations
• Proven success in client relationship management and strong leadership skills
• Comfortable interacting with public agencies, clients, contractors, and co-workers
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues
• A valid G license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from sites (mileage to sites compensated), including valid and appropriate vehicle insurance
