Design Technologist

Position Overview

Our financial client is seeking a Design Technologist to join their team for a full-time contract, 12 months, starting in July. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design and technology, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative user experiences. This position is focused on prototyping, user interface design, and ensuring the visual integrity of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and developers to create interactive prototypes and wireframes.
• Design system library management
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve design solutions.
• Create and maintain design systems and documentation to ensure consistency across projects.
• Utilize design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality visuals.
• Work in Agile methodologies to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in design and technology.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Proven experience in prototyping and user interface design.
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Experience with responsive design and usability testing.
• Familiarity with Angular and collaboration tools.
• Solid understanding of design systems and design thinking principles.
