Rockwood Custom Homes in Calgary, Alberta seeks a dedicated professional for Project Management & Design Administration to lead client projects, coordinate meetings, review selections, and manage budgets alongside the construction team.

You will liaise with owners, trades, suppliers and internal staff, handle design components, take measurements, and contribute to change orders and quotes while upholding Rockwood's standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead client projects with the construction project manager and interior designer

• Complete site measurements and take-offs
• Guide design component selections with clients (flooring, tile, lighting, finishes)
• Procure materials and liaise with trades

The successful candidate will thrive in our culture of excellence in their execution of the role: handle multiple projects with strict deadlines including coordinating client meetings, selection review and budget comparisons, procurement, and ongoing communication to clients, construction managers, owners, trades, suppliers and internal team members.

DETAILS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to Rockwood Custom Homes standards and codes
• Lead client projects alongside the construction project manager and interior designer
• Create and adhere to detailed project budgets
• Review and analyze supplier quotes
• Create change orders and execute quote-to-budget comparison
• Complete site measurements and take-offs
• Conduct client meetings; skillful guidance in the selection of design components including flooring, tile, lighting, hardware, finishes and more
• Procure of materials including flooring, tile, lighting, hardware, finishes and more
• Liaise with project managers, site supervisors and trades
• Manage multiple responsibilities under the direction of leadership, working alongside the design team which may include but not limited to:
  • General administrative duties
  • Project administration
  • Production and updating of client design and site books
  • Detailed review of drawings for all required design components
