Job summary

PMI-SAC in Calgary seeks a Senior Architect & Project Manager with 5–10 years of experience delivering complex architectural projects. You will own projects end-to-end, guiding internal teams, managing timelines and budgets, and serving as the primary client contact.

The ideal candidate combines strong design sensibility with executional focus, ensuring projects meet client expectations at every stage and enabling leadership of junior staff in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect in Alberta (or eligible for registration)
• 5-10 years of experience delivering architectural design and project management
• Strong portfolio in multi-family, mixed-use, and/or commercial projects
• Deep understanding of Canadian building envelope systems and Alberta building code
• Proficient in Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and project workflows
• Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

• Documentation, and coordination of multi-family and mixed-use architectural projects
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, building trust through proactive, clear communication
• Manage client expectations and ensure alignment throughout all project phases
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources using project management tools

You will take full ownership of projects from concept through completion—guiding internal teams, managing timelines and budgets, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients. The ideal candidate brings together strong design sensibility and executional focus to ensure each project is delivered smoothly on time and aligned with client expectations at every stage.

Key Responsibilities
