The Role:
We are looking to hire a highly collaborative Design Manager with an excellent understanding of typography and visual composition, detail orientation, and self-direction to join our team based in Toronto. You will manage a small team of designers in a collaborative environment, working closely with product managers, technologists, editors, and analysts.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in visual communication and graphic design across print, digital, and environmental mediums. We value a growth mindset, strong work ethic, critical thinking, professionalism, kindness, and a sense of fun. You should have experience managing projects from inception to completion, mentoring early-career designers, and collaborating with product and corporate design leaders to develop and maintain visual brand standards.
This position is based in Toronto and is a hybrid role requiring three days in the office weekly.
